Goa is the smallest state of India located on the Western coast of the Indian peninsula. The location of Goa is such that it shares its borders with Maharashtra towards the north and Karnataka in the south. The mighty Arabian Sea lies to its west. The geographical location of Goa is between Latitude 15°48'00" North to 14°53'54" North and Longitude 74° 20'13" East to 73° 40'33" East. Due its location near the sea, Goa experiences maritime climate which makes it the perfect for a vacation.

Goa has a rich and varied history. It was part of the Mauryan Empire in the 3 rd century BC, followed by the rule of the Satvahanas of Kolhapur and the Bhojas who made Chandor their capital. From 580 - 750 AD the Chalukyas of Badami held sway over Goa until the Silharas took control in 1086 AD.

The roar of the sea crashing on golden beaches, the cry of seagulls, the gentle murmur of rivers, the swish of wind playing on palm trees… Goa sings with many voices. And similarly Goa dances too.

Fenny or Feni is a Goan liquor made from either coconut or the juice of the cashew apple. The popular brands of fenny are 'Cashyo' , 'Reals' (pronounced as Reaals), and 'Big Boss'.
